Kathy L. McGhee is an Associate Professor in the Division of Fine Arts and the Area Coordinator of Printmaking at the Columbus College of Art and Design. In 2000, she received a Master of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University, from which she had previously received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in plant biology in 1997. She received the Greater Columbus Arts Council International Residency Award for Dresden, Germany in 2005. In 2010, she was a participant in the Xi’an 2nd International Printmaking Workshop held at Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China. She has been the recipient of several Faculty Enrichment Grants from the CCAD. She has shown her work both nationally and internationally. Several of her prints are mentioned and pictured in the book: Printmakers Today, edited by Jeffrey B. Snyder and published by Schiffer Publishing Ltd.
