Alex Trippe is a visual artist from coastal Maine. Her work concerns itself with the constantly shifting earth: the clams breathing underneath the mud, the mystery portal of the cocoon; the cycles of returning, transforming and becoming. 

 

She received her BFA in Photography, Imaging, and Emerging Media from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2018. Alex is currently an MFA student in Ceramics at The Ohio State University.
